Sunday School

For he issued his laws to Jacob; He gave his instructions to Israel.
He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children,
so the next generation might know them— even the children not yet born—
and they in turn will teach their own children. Psalm 78:5-6

Assemble the people, the men and the women and children and the alien who is in your town, so that they may hear and learn and fear the LORD your God, and be careful to observe all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 31:12

Do you have what it takes to teach young children about Jesus? Well, you just might be the right person for this ministry!

The Sunday School Ministry aims to share the Gospel to our youngsters in an understandable manner and gives them an opportunity to respond to Christ while they are in their formative years. The volunteers in the ministry reaches out to our precious little ones and guide them in knowing Jesus as their personal Saviour through fun-filled activities like story-telling, role-playing and interactive games. The workers in this group care for the spiritual growth of each child so they would learn to start believing and obeying God’s Word as they are growing up. It is our mission to nurture our children to become committed followers of Christ.

The ministry’s vision is to see every child in our church discipled, and walking closely in Christ,. Discipleship means to nurture them into maturity in the Christian faith and eventually accepting Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. As young as they are, we aim to develop an understanding of the Bible by enabling our youngsters to apply their learnings in their everyday life when making decisions based on biblical principles and values, practise of the spiritual disciplines and becoming a well-rounded person living a Spirit-filled life.

It is our goal to work alongside parents in building a strong spiritual foundation for the children and we also seek to meet the children's present and unfolding needs by providing Bible-based, age-appropriate lessons and activities. Lastly, we aim to encourage the children to spread the Gospel in their own unique ways.
