May 30th marks the fourth year anniversary of Christian Covenant Fellowship (CCF) here in Singapore. In a span of 48 months, God has moved our worship center to various locations around the city and along the way He has exponentially increased our number. Praise God, indeed, for the many lives that He has blessed us with all this time. This, truly, is a strong testament of His unfailing love, kindness and faithfulness to His church.

We praise Him as well for the way He has touched each and every member of the church. Hearing testimonies about His amazing fingerprints in the lives of our members, one cannot help but be inspired of how mightily He has been transforming us into increasing Christ-likeness.

Moving forward, the scripture is clear about the need for each believer to exhibit Christ–likeness in an increasing manner. The heart of Jesus’ message in John 15 emphasizes this instruction, "Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can’t bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with me." (verse 4, The Message).

We, as a church, recognize this instruction and are committed to provide all means available to achieve this goal in every CCF member. Trust that you will find the theme of "making Every Believer A Minister (EBAM)" a constant in all church activities from here onwards.

As we brave the coming years and strive to develop a thriving church community, we ask that you continually lift up CCF Singapore in prayer. It is our vision to share His goodness and to touch as many lives as possible in this robust city – all for His glory alone.

Happy Anniversary brethren!    – Jay Singson

CCF Stories: God’s Amazing Fingerprints abound in CCF

When the Lord pulled us out of Japan 4 years ago, we never imagined that He has prepared something tremendously exciting at the same time challenging for as we relocate in Singapore. But then again, there we were, witnessing the birth of CCF Singapore, taking part, being involved and seeing the growth of something significant in our midst. On hindsight, we can now clearly see why the Lord has called us to this part of Asia. He set us apart for a very specific and noble purpose – to lead His people.

Looking back at that one full year of being unemployed since coming here to Singapore, God showed me that He is indeed a great provider and a trustworthy Father. It was such a humbling experience as far as I can remember but He consequently used this experience to help me become consistent and steadfast in the ministry.

Our D-Group sessions always remind me of how God made my move here to Singapore so amazingly easy. Whenever tough times come, my sisters in faith lovingly remind me to always count my blessings, then it’s not so bad anymore.

I find it a great blessing to be part of CCF Singapore – my family away from home. Through my brothers and sisters in Christ I found comfort, happiness and much needed support and guidance in my walk towards being more Christ-like. It is indeed a privilege to serve Him through CCF Singapore and I am looking forward to seeing this church grow and touch more lives in the coming years. Happy anniversary!
